DESCRIPTION

Standard mode, spawn at north slightly to the east. My intention was initially to lurk around protecting lines 6 to 8 but everything changes as soon as I reach line D: I'm now radiolocated, and a quick mental triangulation indicates it's a ship at middle. Our Halland, who has joined battle with a bit of delay, has RPF of his own and pinpoints a sneaker: the red Shimakaze. Halland forces him to hide in smoke while I turn back to block his escape and cross his T at point blank.

I have the hunch the enemy team has split up to the flanks and middle is now open, so I head to their base and Halland follows suit. Before entering comes the taunt and bait: "what a mother beautiful base, should I cap it?" in open chat.

The reds panic and most of them turn around to defend. The first one to do so is their Zao (the RPF ship from the beginning), who was retreating from the collapsing western flank, and then their CV, who manages to hit me with a torpedo and reset. All their eastern flank is coming now en masse. The smoke I set for self-protection won't last long, and certainly not long enough for capping as Halland is also hit and reset.

Half the remnants from our western flank, CV included, have come to the rescue, so to say. I leave the red base towards our carrier in order to lay smoke and hide him, but our Halland stubbornly stays behind and is sunk. A very hectic battle around the island right north from their base ensues. The second bait happens at the end of it: our CV takes all the attention from Großer Kurfürst until being sunk, which allows me to ambush with torpedoes.

Meanwhile, Marceau and Worcester, who were chasing the red Austin, are sunk by him. On the other hand, our Zao, the only survivor from our eastern flank, pursues and sinks the enemy carrier. I return to their base and lay in ambush at the further side of it, thus when Austin comes the capture will be blocked. Once he appears I send torpedoes towards him. I'm not confident in any of them hitting so a final bait is needed: I tell Zao what's in the title in order to divert Austin's attention and make him turn to ensure the kill.
